The Fence Light is a sculptural yet adjustable table light. The Fence features an oak base and vertical uprights that hold the luminaire at a desired height and angle. The protruding head is pleasant to the touch, inviting the user to move and tilt it within the slot between the uprights. The power cable emerges from the base and gracefully curves upwards, disappearing into the luminaire.
The Fence Light was born from the imagery of a plant growing through the crack of a fence in an East Vancouver alley way. There was something special about the organic nature of the plant and its interaction with the curt, geometric nature of the fence.
